Good strong cool white light. This one is 'daylight' colour temp, which is the blueish stark white. A worthy replacement to incandescent. This one is meant to be equivalent of a 40w incandescent.
General points about lighting
To me the main factors are 'lumens' and 'colour temp'
Alternatives :
Poundland have 3w LED bulbs for £1. Perhaps try them first if new to LEDs ?
Verdict :
Up to the job but check Poundland out too.
